By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Alibi Protocol — including the landing page, the progressive web app, the $ALIBI reward program, and anything else offered under the Alibi Protocol name (collectively, the "Service") — you agree to every term below. If you don't, don't use the Service. I wrote it plain so there's no ambiguity about what you're agreeing to.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet both conditions. If you're under 18, do not register, do not use the Service, and if you already did, stop.
You agree not to do any of the following:
If you do any of the above I may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without refund, and any accrued or pending $ALIBI rewards tied to the violating activity may be forfeited.
The in-app rights coach runs on a third-party large language model and is trained on general knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, common police-encounter scenarios, and widely available legal information. It is not a lawyer, is not a substitute for a lawyer, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. It can be wrong. It can hallucinate. Do not stake your freedom on any single sentence it produces. Use it as a fast-reference ally. Verify anything that matters with a licensed attorney in your state.
$ALIBI is a utility token. It is not a security, not an investment contract, and not a share of Alibi Protocol.

Alibi Protocol is not a law firm, is not a lawyer referral service regulated under any bar rule, and does not provide legal representation. Any referral surfaced in the Service is informational only. Any attorney-client relationship you enter is strictly between you and the attorney. I take no legal fees, do not supervise cases, and make no guarantee of case outcome.
A future version of the Service may help you request removal of mugshots from third-party websites. Success depends on each host's policy, the laws of your state, and the specifics of your case. Some hosts will comply. Some will not. I will be transparent about what works.
You acknowledge that interactions with law enforcement are inherently unpredictable and can result in detention, arrest, bodily injury, property loss, financial harm, emotional harm, reputational harm, or death regardless of whether the service is used, is functioning, or is functioning correctly.
You voluntarily assume all risks of using the service before, during, and after any interaction with law enforcement, any other third party, or any emergency.
You acknowledge that the service is a tool, not a guarantee of safety, a guarantee of recording success, a guarantee of admissibility in any court, a guarantee of favorable legal outcome, or a guarantee of police compliance with your rights.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, alibi protocol and its founder, officers, contractors, and licensors disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, and any warranties arising from course of dealing, course of performance, or usage of trade.
Without limiting the foregoing, alibi protocol does not warrant that: (a) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (b) any recording, GPS log, video, audio, timestamp, or evidence package will be captured, preserved, or admissible in any judicial, administrative, or other proceeding; (c) any interaction with law enforcement will be prevented, de-escalated, or resolved favorably as a result of your use of the service; (d) the ai rights coach will produce correct, current, or jurisdiction-specific information; (e) the $alibi token will retain any value, remain liquid, or remain transferable; or (f) defects in the service will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of the above exclusion may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions the exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall alibi protocol, its founder, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, service providers, or affiliates (collectively, the "released parties") be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation, loss of wages, loss of business, business interruption, personal injury, emotional distress, mental anguish, wrongful arrest, wrongful detention, loss of liberty, loss of custody, loss of employment, legal fees, attorneys' fees, bail, fines, restitution, or any other damages of any kind, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other legal theory, whether or not the released parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages, and whether or not any remedy set forth in these terms fails of its essential purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of the released parties to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid to alibi protocol in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred u.s. dollars (us$100.00).
You acknowledge that this limitation of liability is a material basis of the bargain between you and alibi protocol, and that alibi protocol would not provide the service to you on an economically viable basis without these limitations.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you in full. In those jurisdictions the released parties' liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
You hereby release, waive, and forever discharge the released parties from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, expenses, and liabilities of every kind and nature, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, disclosed or undisclosed, arising out of or in any way related to your use of the service, any interaction with law enforcement, any recording made or not made through the service, any action or inaction of the $alibi token or its underlying blockchain, or any third-party service integrated with the service.
If you are a california resident, you expressly waive california civil code section 1542, which states: "a general release does not extend to claims
